What is this?

I have these two things that came a a box of random tools. One says "Circular Saw" On the side, has a flat area and two holes that are parallel to in one being a little oblong. The other says "side bevel cut" has an angles bed with the holes parallel to that. The silver part rotates is about 1/8" wide groove and can adjust up and down. What is this? I am guessing it is apart of a blade sharpening system??

They look like hold-downs for a miter saw.

to be splitters or riving knives for either a table saw or a circ saw.

A SWAG: I would also guess that they are tooth indexes for some sort of saw sharpening system, but a cursory search didn't turn up anything identical.

I thought they're depth\length stops with micro adjustment judging by those double holes - some older table saws had two rods in a miter gauge. But it doesn't explain these big fins.

If you stand them up so that the thin curved edges are parallel to the saw blade, I think it more feasible. Why you'd need to change one for a bevel cut I can't answer.
He could determine that curve's radius pretty easily to find a likely type/size of saw blade that might be involved
