I'm just a hobbyist woodworker gravitating towards hand tools. Not everything I do is done entirely by hand, however I believe that woodworking in a non-industrial setup is almost entirely about skills. So my machines use is limited to stock preparation and rough dimensioning. I like planing and joinery and would probably never buy a Festool or use a machine cut box joint in my pieces. I also ventured into timberframing, but having a full time job makes it almost impossible to follow up on it.
