Ken's on a roll here!

Anyone working on a computer search to tell us of any longer ones we have missed? Don't post yet, just wondering if anyone will have more once we call it quits.

You skipped 12

and used some plurals ending in s. Did you really come up with all these without computer assistance, or are you our designated computer guy to tell us what we missed once everyone using pure recollection is stumped?

12 - Flowcharting (inspired by Lee's list of 13s)

Have we hit a wall at 13?

Lee has given lots of good examples at 13, including some very "regular" words as well as more specialized words like hydromagnetic (a water magnet?) Surely with as many as he gave for 13, there should be some 14s.

Let's open it up to those using computers to find solutions. Are there any solutions for 14 or higher (and if you find one w/o computers, by all means say so)?

Letting the computer search

None of the computer guys here volunteered, so I downloaded a dictionary and used a spreadsheet program to examine the words. (Go ahead, computer types--cringe at this use of a totally inappropriate tool. I just use the tools I have!) I came up with a list that only went to 13. The dictionary I downloaded didn't have many of the words Lee found, but did include one 13-letter profanity that fits the description -- MFing.

Re: 2 15 letter words

And "uncopyrightable" seems like an appropriately self-referential note on which to conclude this thread!

Thanks for Dan and Lee for using a bigger dictionary than I had, to extend this to 15. And to Thomas and especially Ken for the many steps along the way.
