Friday puzzle -- Word Play

Let's try a team effort on this one. How big a word can we come up with that has no letter appearing in it more than once? Let's give answers in the subject line to make it easy to see how far we have gotten. And post in order. So if you think of a twelve-letter word with no repeats, don't post it until someone has posted an eleven-letter word.

Letters with an accent, a tilde, an umlaut, etc. are not considered different from their underlying letter, i.e., only 26 letters.

I'll start by posting examples with 1,2,3,4, and 5 letters from the above sentence, but will not post "consider" yet, since no-one has posted a seven-letter word yet.

One more rule

I know this is probably an easy exercise for a programmer using a dictionary or spell-check word data base. If that is in your skill set, please do a search to fill us in once we have gone as far as we can with carbon-based computers, but limit your initial answers to what you think of yourself.

That would be good if it weren't for the two "o"s!

I can't tell you how many times I have done the same thing. I "found" scratched and scratching for 9 and 10, adn stopped myself just in time!

Re: 9 - unlighted

And I was hoping that if you were outside on a cloudless day, you might be sunlighted. Alas, sunlight has no verb definition in the dictionary I checked (and my spell checker has highlighted "sunlighted" in this message).
