Learned some about getting crystal clear epoxy casting (combination vacuum and high pressure) and a test on end-grain gluing.  Originally thought to use the piece as a king-size headboard.  SWMBO chose the living room wall instead.  A friend observed that I did a "reverse river table' and hung it on the wall.

A small diversion, is that small sculpture of wrestlers? Down for the pin....

For the Pin?  Maybe not.  Taken as a stopped motion it's about as close to an escape as to a pin.  You have to see it in person and walk around it to get a real sense of which.  It was done and cast when I was in grad. school in Indiana during the '72 Olympics.  Interesting that this same issue was raised by one of my Master's Thesis show's professor-jurors.  He asked me about the contradiction.  I replied, "It's then up to you to decide after you walk away holding the visual in your head."  The jury loved that answer.
