Happy New year, folks!
The past year and a half have been pretty chaotic around here as we've transitioned from our old forum architecture to this rocking new one and repackaged the rest of our many thousands of pages of features and content. I hope everyone spends some time exploring the remarkable transformation that Peter Martin has wrought on this website. I had almost forgotten how much content we've accumulated in 25+ years, and I'm astounded by the new stuff that Peter keeps coming up with. Who knew there was so much other content out there that we could point you to?
I'm spending a little time every day to explore all the new nooks and crannies around here, and am beginning to fathom the new possibilities of being a true woodworking portal. Just as one example, here's a rabbit hole I stumbled down this morning, with hundreds of old Sightings shots (minus all the original captions unfortunately, although they do exist somewhere). I'm sorry the pics are so small. We were dealing with very low bandwidth in those days, but the memories come flooding back of all the folks who contributed and made this site what it is. What a remarkable blast from the past. I think I have another several hundred of these for future uploading...

Thanks for all your expertise and hard work, Peter. This place is getting better all the time.
