I'm trying to work with available shop space and it looks like I might end up going with 22 1/2" wide vs my current 30" wide.
That strikes me as kind of narrow. Does anybody have any experience with a TS outfeed table that width. Thanks.
Is 22 1/2 inches too narrow for a TS outfeed table

#2Might be a bit narrow. Mine is 25" but on a moveable table rather than fixed so I can slide it as needed. In most cases, when doing sheet goods and it normally stays in one position.

#3Thanks Bill. Mine'll be about 4 feet long and on casters so I can move it onto place.

Edited #4Howard......I've used a roller table that has 13" wide rollers for outfeed stock support on my table saw and it has worked well for everything from long thin stock rip cuts all the way up to 4' x 8' plywood sheets......just have to adjust the table's position on occasion. Another nice thing is that this support can be used with other machines in the shop.

#5I, like Roger have a roller outfeed that is narrow but on a stand I can move. In fact it's in three pieces I can move around to make it a wing for my RAS or an outfeed for my Performax and if necessary also an infeed for the Performax. The narrow outfeed on the TS works fine. I usually align it so it is twisted slightly toward the fence to help keep the boards close to the fence.

#6On my old Robland X-31 my hombuilt outfeed table is only 17" wide by 23" long and it is hinged to the case-iron top and can be flipped up and locked when needed. I've found that sufficient with the occasional addition of roller stands. In my tiny crowded low-ceilinged shop I have seldom fed 4X8 sheetgoods through it, preferring to break them down to rough dimensions with a hand-wielded power saw.

#7Thanks everybody. I have an idea that should do this fast.
