My experiences with love have occasionally involved itching...
but it wasn't in my heart.

When any Motown artist/act was in Detroit, they were required to spend 2 days a week in what was called "artist development"........to work on their stage presence......choreography......physical appearance.......and Diana Ross was famously criticized by her artist development instructors for making "goo goo eyes" when singing and pressured to stop doing it......I find it charming......here's the best sample I could find of her flirtations with the camera......
Later on Ed Sullivan......
Motown got a more polished sophisticated looking and moving Supremes.......but, those flirting eyes were still there......
