Peter.....since you are into music that I'm also interested in......please go to YouTube and get a channel called Mosogotam and listen to the Supremes "Love Is Like An Itching In My Heart"-an extended version. This guy breaks down songs into their parts and gives an interesting way of listening to these recordings.....you'll enjoy this.

I want to know how he is able to concentrate on just the lead singer.....or isolate the back-up singers.....or play just the bass line.....and so on. Does he have access to the masters (the original recording tapes)??.....or is it some electrical devise that allows him to do what he does??

Peter.....this branched into another interesting video on a YouTube site, fuTuRo - Sonic, My World Is Empty Without You by The Supremes (not intending to concentrate on them).....it appears to have footage of the actual recording session in tiny Studio A at Motown.....there are The Supremes, The Funk Brothers, string players from the Detroit Symphony, and Holland, Dozier, Holland all in that small space.....
Worth a watch.....
