Yes, I like Frank"s method of turning the beads using the forefinger to keep up with the angle. I use the wicked one for grooves but the more traditional pyramid when I do small beads. (I actually use the one Frank gave me - he ground a round skew on the other end of the rod and uses a handle with an insert.)

.....is ugly, but Stuart Batty wouldn't appreciate you saying his tool is a "little ugly tool!" Robo would have the last laugh!!
