Thank you all!

Mike Schwing from Md.

>Thanks for all of the great comments and all of the additional ideas, but I'm done with this thing! Don't even want to look at it again for a month. I'm really itching to spin up a piece of wood.

There are so many great ideas, I only wish I could have had them all! Someone suggested that inside of the head there should be an eye, so that when you look in - and everyone is going to look into it, you see an eye. Or a mirror, so you see your own eye! Then someone else suggested I somehow put the title "If I Only Had A Brain" inside the head so it wouldn't clutter the exterior. Multiple suggestions on additional work for the brain, from painting to more detail work. The fact is the brain wasn't intended to be the focal point, so if it appears muted that helps achieve my goal. Plus, Marylin Campbell commented that she thought the brain was superb and that lady knows her art!

I'd probably take some of you ideas and try to incorporate them, but fact is this has to be cemented in stone by March 15 and I can't bear to look at this anymore right now.

This was a unique challenge and it ended up way differently than it started. It might not hold up to some fine art major's critique, but then again I'm no fine artist. Fun, fun, fun! It was fun.
