Turning Topic for 1/28/04 Bandsaw & follow-up

TDaniel

>Hi all

We'll start the topic off this week with some follow-ups to last week's chainsaw topic and then move to the bandsaw, the next machine before going to the lathe. We'll have some good safety tips for sawing bowl blanks with a bandsaw and some suggestions about horsepower and blades. For bandsaw needs other than turning blanks you may need to post on the flat board side as this will be pretty much limited to turning. Join us at 9 or so on Wed night.

Thanks

TD

>Adrien, I just meant we will not try to get into resawing boards and such, just making turning blanks round; we'll let the regular woodworking side get into the needs of resawing.
