"SIGHTINGS"

Peak performance

This is a photo of the Great Range of the Adirondacks, not far from Lake Placid, NY. The mountain to the far right is Mt. Marcy, the highest peak in NY at an elevation of 5344 ft. above sea level. It was taken from Cascade Mt., the 36th highest peak at 4098 ft. These are both part of the Adirondack 46 High peaks, all over 4000 ft or more above sea level. Those who have hiked all 46 mountains are members of a group called ADK 46ers. I am one of the 46ers.
