However, I have found I can learn something from most ever post of yours, (and most other peoples). Didn't learn a damn thing from the rude one - except that I hope he dislikes the site so much he never returns -. I feel most people like him are very low in skills, as they seldom give credit to others for good ideas, therefore they are left with what little they learn on their own. Keep up the great postings. Those that wish to complain would find it much easier (and more friendly) to skip reading the posts they feel they don't like.

I've been torn on whether to ignore the rude reply to your post (and so to deny him/her what they are looking for), or to raise my voice in the choir of praise and encouragement for this and your other informative posts. As you can see - though I've praised some of your earlier posts - I've elected the later. Thank you! I use my braces all the time - much more than I thought I would when I got them. I keep one with a countersink mounted in it permanently because it's so fast and convenient for projects around the house. I've also used them alot for other projects - most recently in the last couple of weeks for setting and adjusting guide rails for the slates on a compost bin I built for my wife in our backyard.

If, it were a subject that I thought I was already an expert in (so far in my 50 years, I have yet to find any that is) so much that I found ZERO value in another knowledgable persons post, then I suppose that I would just merely NOT OPEN the post and LOOK at it!!!

I cannot imagine that I would ever be so presumptuous that I would decide for others whether a post was of value or not. While I have been accused of arrogance on rare occasions, I can't hardly imagine the degree of arrogance it would take for me to do so.

So Bob, please (PLEASE) continue to make your posts. I enjoy them if for no other reason than to remind myself of something I might already know.
