I'd probably move closer

>to the dump if BFI would let us take things out.

It is all a one way trip.

I have thot of sitting outside of the gate and "inspect" the pickups going in. Then we could trade things that are really usefull!!!!

Of course, my little lot would probably look like the dump too!

>I think with a bit of creatvity you'll find space for your treasures with room to spare. I see allot of empty wall space. Is this a dedicated shop or are you in the same sinking boat as I am and have to ensure to leave space for at least on vehicle? If it's "all yours" you've got it made.

Hard to imagine folks tossing out good metal shelving, but at least you got it.

Good thing you got to the dump before Norm eh? ;~)

I'm glad that your place sold to a fellow ww a' that helps to make it alright I guess.

Lets us know how the setting up of your new shop comes along.

I also enjoy the "Dump finds" from you and Bob keep 'em coming.

Todd O. who was pleased as punch to find another set of angle iron bed frame rails in the trash this evening.

Good news and bad(OT-PT content)

Bob Hackett

>The good news is that I found a milk crate full of breakers at the dump today. The bad news is that only about half fit the panel in my shop.Among them are four 220 breakers(2-30 amp and 2-60 amp)with the price stickers still on them.

Good news is that the Porter Cable sawzall still runs(and it`s variable speed).Bad news is one of the keys in the gears needs replaced.I`ll pick it up when I go to get the parts for the 1/2" Milwaukee drill I found last week. The local contractors are sure hard on tools but"They been berry, berry good to me!"

>Our "Recycling Center",( fancy name for dump), has what's called the swap shop. It's a building where people can put stuff that's too good to throw away. I make a daily stop there everyday on my way home from work. My best finds there have been some metal storage cabinets full of various hardware and a tilting top table saw that works. I've also found various printers, shelving units, and one day, I found 3 shaker style ladder back chairs. Today, I picked up a piece of Americana folk art. It's a little black boy sitting down, eating a piece of watermelon. I hope that doesn't offend anyone. It will probably go on Ebay.

>Yes Roger we made out very well on those blades.

I made a "Return" of the 18' x 2" blades last week. I still have a good supply and am about to order a saw as soon as I can make room for it, or before snow flies anyways.
