Since we've been experiencing experimentation with forum display formats, I have found using WoodCentral is becoming more and more annoying. Now, whenever I visit, I find my display preferences and my identity have been reset. Most of the time, I don't feel it is worth my effort to reenter them all before trying to browse the forums or even to go from one forum to another. Having separate volatile preferences for each forum is even more time and patience wasting.
And changing the default style should not have affected user preferences, as they are stored locally in a browser cookie and should override server defaults--as long as cookies on the user device(s) are not changed.

There have been so many complaints about this forum software, I'm thinking it's time to give serious consideration to migrating it to something being actively developed and not abandoned like this software. The aforementioned is a personal project being developed by a programmer with decades of experience contributing to many of the popular Open Source forum packages used by huge sites today.
