Installing an LED under the router
Everyone has a drawer of various voltage charging transformers. We just found one that matched the LED requirements. The transformer wires were cabled tied to the route power cord to keep them all together and in order. LED cable tied to router. Took 5 minutes in implement. No, I do not know where son in law obtained the LED. I can see so well with it that I route to almost kiss scribe lings. Makes chiseling easy.

I found at least a dozen videos on LED lights on a router......but, as Bill always says, no one ever learned anything watching a video on YouTube......

Another way to skin this cat,
Because I'm out in the dark so often needing more light, I almost always wear a LED ball-cap bill light. It really lights up your view under the router, and you might find it handy for paring to the line as well.
