13 years ago! It brings back memories. Wiktor approached me at this time to write articles for his then-brand-spanking-new website. For some while I was the only contributer, and then a couple of others joined up. I recall Chris Schwarz being one. Bob Smalser was another.

I left after about 18 months to start my own website, but by now there was quite a sizable collection of excellent articles uploaded by Wiktor (such as his work on restoring egg beater drills). The website deserved to get more attention. Now it will be missed.

especially, if you're like me and this is the first time you've heard about the site.

Sorta like learning that theres this pretty, rich, blonde lady (she owned a golf course and bar) that secretly had a crush on you.....but, she's moving far, far away tomorrow.

That's very sad news. I hope all the information gets saved somehow and kept available. Such a wealth of knowledge there, it would be unfortunate to lose it.
