>I have been notified that I am the winner of Wood Magazine's Powermatic sweepstakes!

I do not have the prize yet but I am told that I will recieve it shortly, it is a Powermatic PM 2000 cabinet saw.

And a very deserving winner you are!

Johanna

>What fun! Congratulations! BTW - are you a member of the Woodworkers Club of Houston? Were you a member back in the 90's? In other words, did we ever meet there?

Todd from San Jose

>Time to go to Vegas and cash in on a lucky streak, Rob! Seriously, that is very cool. Was this a random drawing, or did you have to write to them?

I know how you feel- I won my sliding table saw in Felder's "Sliding for Success" drawing, back in 2004. That was one incredible stroke of luck.

Enjoy that Powermatic- it looks like a great saw. You're gonna love that riving knife, it virtually eliminates kick-back.

>Hey Everyone! Thanks a million. I will really feel like I won it when it is hooked up and running !!!

I wish you all could be in my shoes, so many of you could do much more than I with it. But I'm GLAD I won it !!!

Great! But not as good as...

Joe Pack

>Congratulations on the winning the saw! Glad someone I have heard of actually won this type of contest, but what is winning a Powermatic compared to being an official tester for the Handyman Club of America? I have a membership card and everything. Bet you didn't get a free plastic drill guide either! :-))

Way to go Rob! Enjoy your new saw.

>Congratulations, I think. I guess I didn't enter, so the congratulations is (mostly) free of envy. I will think about you while I rebuild my saw that I paid way too much for and is a pile of junk.

>Well, by God Rob, good for you! A Hearty Congratulations. when can we look forward to seeing your smiling mug in the Mag? I don't subscribe to WOOD so unless you let us know I'l probably miss it.

When they do your interview give Ellis and WC a plug. ;~)

I think it would make for a great sharpening station. :~O
