>Hi!

Thanks- I'm probably not the Fred you're thinking of, this is my 2nd post ever here.

My question is, if you go into older shops there are lots of nice sturdy old USA made tools. Most look like they are from the 1960s or earlier. But I'm currently in the market for a drill press, and I can't find anything but Chinese made crap everywhere I look. Are there any old time companies making big heavy solid machine tools in the US anymore?

Thanks

>Sorry Fred. About your question. For the most part there isn`t any tools made here. Some Delta is, but they are the bigger tools, like the Unisaw, You might try Oliver, but they don`t post prices, you have to go or call a dealer. Larry in NW Ohio
