Some time woodworker but most of the time tinkerer carpentry, plumbing, electrical. I had the luck to meet my wife over twenty years ago and she found I had enough handyman skills to keep me around. When it comes to shop time I do enjoy turning small items on the lathe. I have made more than enough cabinets that I am starting to repeat my construction methods and becoming fairly proficient at building boxes square . My first wood working site I remember finding was the Pond and I can't count the number of web sites,blogs,message boards etc that I have been to since then. I have tried my hand at just about every type of most woodworking project it just seems that the ones that I repeat are those needed at the time. It has also been my experience that I don't need the latest and greatest tools I just have to practice with the basic tools i do have to get a decent result.
