Hello, I'm a amature wood worker and wanna' be luthier. I started wood working around 1999 dreaming of building my own guitars and basses. We'll over the years I've built several scratch built guitars, but still trying to make one that I'm really impressed with. I have done various other small wood working projects and found at times that the lathe can be a pretty addictive machine. The guitar building was one of the most difficult and challenging hobbies I've ever encountered, I've learned a LOT the hard way, but was also fortunate enough to get some great tips and pointers from the pros. My shop if finally set up fairly ergonomically after several years of not having it set up at all. I'm still learning every time I cut a chunk of wood, or turn it on my lathe.
