I am an amateur who enjoys wooden boat building. My past lurking includes being an Oaker and a Ponder. I was first introduced to woodworking by my father who, in addition to being a WWII Chief Boson's Mate, was a floor sander/refinisher in Columbia County, NY. I was in the Navy but only made it to E4, check out LCT 642 and 146.
