A "learning amateur" anxious to turn quality pieces. Trying to become versatile. Currently doing bowls, ornaments, other more useful items. Did 31 years as a Naval Aviator, helicopter pilot, ship Capt, Flag Officer. Saw a few wars, none of them pleasant. Trained a couple guys to land on the moon, and saw them come home while at sea. Saw a few thousand sunrises and moonsets at sea. -- - -etc. "nuff said". Different pace these days.
