Del in Chapel Hill, NC. Tarheel born and will be a Tarheel dead. That describes both my geographic background and my collegiate allegiance, although I also do have occasion to give a War Eagle yell. My day job is as a public health epidemiologist for our state Division of Public Health. My earliest woodworking experience was helping my Dad build boats (shrimp trawler, 20' inboard runabout and 14' skiff) on the NC coast. I still have the hammer and saw he gave me on my 12th birthday plus now all of his tools.
