Friday Puzzler -- Set the Clock

You forgot to wind he only clock in your home and it has stopped.
You walk to a friend's house to join him for dinner. While you frequently make this walk at a very consistent pace, you have never timed the walk. When you get to your friend's house, you notice the time on his grandfather clock, that you know he keeps set accurately. After a nice dinner and conversation, you leave for home, taking one more glance at his clock. When you get home, you accurately set the time on your clock.
