Henry Higginbotham

1. Hershey Kisses Life Savers

3. 3 (or Three) Musketeers Milk Duds

6. Tootsie Rolls Baby Ruth

And this one doesn't really sound right, but . . .

4. Mr. Goodbar Snickers

On the rest, one part comes readily to mind, but not the complete phrase. Couldn't think of any to be sly with the answers on this one.

This one seems a stretch, since Bar is usually thought to be part of the name of the middle answer, but I'll run it up the pole anyway:

5. Butterfinger Mars Mounds

:)

I agree that Mars Bar is the more commonly thought of name, but this is the way the puzzle has it.

2 and 7 to go.

Good puzzle! I'll offer sweet tarts and sugar daddy as the starts of the two still unsolved, but I can't get any further (and only got the sweet tarts after you gave the first letters)

Correct on both accounts. Only four treats to go.

These seven clues were amusing. The rest of the NYTimes puzzle was typically hard, but using the 'down' answers to fill in some of the letters in the answers to these was a help.
