and what you caught me on was my own atrocious spelling! If I had written what I meant for #5, nooccar, it might have been a better puzzle.

I was hoping to draw you into the debate of whether a panda is related to a bear or a raccoon, while the real answer is #4, for the same reason as you picked #5.

Oh, well. I'll try for a better puzzle next time.

... my bad for not noticing #4 was also speeled wong. About half of my 30 years in print was at the light table assembling film, and can read type in any orientation.

Without resorting to google, I think the panda is the only non carnivore?
