Rogue Trivia

In a piano there is something called a sound board. This sound board is generally made of this type of wood. I don't need a specific answer unless you live in a town with Princess Maksoutoff’s Grave (which I personally have visited) in which case you can answer more completely.

Congratulations, Don. No ifs and or buts, you are the winner. Have a great day. Have you been to Sitka? I thought it was a great little town. You could walk anywhere and it was beautiful.

Thanks! Never been to Sitka but would like to some day. My answer was basically an inferred guess. I remembered that soundboards and many musical instruments use Spruce as tone woods and figured the Russian sounding name indicated the far northwest.

Thanks for posting the question! And for giving me something interesting to read about.
