In the English language, adding an s to the end of a noun makes it plural; e.g. road, roads.
Can you think of a word where adding an s to the end, instead of making it plural, completely changes its meaning?
There may be several such words, but I only know of one, so this trivia may be next to impossible. I will provide a hint if no responses.

Spoke can be both a verb and a noun. If a noun, as in a spoke of a wheel, then adding s makes it plural, not a new word. Of course if you take it as a verb, then adding s makes it the plural of the noun.
I'm afraid I don't follow the TTC idea, so don't know if that works, or not.
The word that I am looking for looks like this:
time----- It is a noun.
Adding s to the end, making time-----s, makes it into a completely new word, not the plural of time-----.
