A word problem for today:

Starting with the word SPARKLING, remove one letter to create another word. Do not change the order of any remaining letters.

Continue removing one letter at a time, each time forming a new word until you are left with a one-letter word.

Should have been the last letter of my code. Careless error on my part.

Good puzzle. I kept getting stumped looking for a 5-letter word. I found two paths down to six letters, then from 4 to 1, but the 5-letter "bridge" took a while to find.
