Still trying to get my fingers thawed out. Man, has this been a brutal winter! Well....onto the question.....looking for the term for this:
The term used when the pith falls entirely within the four faces anywhere in the length of a piece.

A term local sawmillers use around here is: Boxing the heart. Not sure if this is what you are after(?).

I don't know the correct term, but off my mill, it's usually called firewood.
