Since many of us are burning wood about this time of year for heat. What percent of all wood harvested in the world is used as fuel? Get within 4% of the answer wins.

In some parts of the world it approaches 75%. World wide considering paper and building materials, I'd guess 25%.

I was shocked...

larger percent than what I thought it would be. A lot of people around the world use quite a bit of wood for heating and cooking.

If you include brush as wood and charcoal making then I'll up my WAG to 79%.
