Thomas Skaggs, Foothills of Mount Level

This guy is a big guy in the world of furniture. In 1940 he introduced America to a style of furniture that became iconic. A controversial design of his was a chair named for a sea bird. Who is he?

Did not know the design, chair was named after a bird, googled name of chair and bird, thought of Danial-son. The chair was orginal designed to slide across carpeting, if my memory serves me correct. Thanks for the ?.

Mr. Smith is the smart man today for knowing the answer....Finn Juhl. Juhl was a primary figure in introducing Danish Modern furniture to America. More at this linky....
