Congrats to Jerry for finding all 50 squares that can be drawn using these points. Below is an illustration, showing one example of each size square, and the count of those squares (from shifting horizontally and vertically, and in two cases by reflection):

You should add 24 more squares to make the total 74! I did this by drawing 45 degree diagonals thru each point and getting 24 more squares. Try it.

are the corners of the squares points on the grid? I think not, if I am picturing correctly what you are doing.
And if you eliminate that requirement, then I suspect the answer is infinitely many squares!
