The "firefighter" did not have their Nomex, PPE on. Actually, if you listen to the video, this is about a private-commericial crew, Gray???? something, and I think they were clearing a fuelbreak for a potenial fire. But by going what the Headline said, they were fighting a fire. Thanks for playing

Grayback Forestry is the name of the company. It looked like they were prepareing for a prescribed burn, so maybe the "Yellow Shirts" weren't required. The theory is man got pretty good at stopping small fires, so the fuel loading and ladder growth allows fire that do get beyond small to really take off. By going in and cleaning up the undergrowth and burning it in a controlled fashion they create a patchwork of realatively clear forest that mimics what small fires did 50 or more years ago. Thats the theory at least, it makes sense to me as the Ponderosa Pine Forests, which did evolve with fire, look a lot more like they did when I was a kid, oh so many years ago. There have been a couple large fires around here in the last few years that became controlable in the place they burned up against recent perscribed burns.

It seems that for "Photo" type Journalism or the "UNreality" shows, at lot of license is taken. Real "reality shiows" would draw much aduience. I guess the real thing wrong with the photo was the title
