So I was working on a drawer in the shop last night and in doing some drawer research I came across some info about ventillated drawers. More specifically boy's ventillated drawers. But in checking the facts it turns out it's a misnomer. How so?

As a young boy in the 1930's I wore ventilated drawers many times.

Ken and Alex get A's for effort but no Golden Unis. Sorry.
Of course we were speaking of BVDs. For decades it was long thought that BVD stood for Boy's Ventillated Drawers. And while they were indeed "ventillated" the real origigin of the name BVD was for the surnames of the company founders, Bradley, Vorhees and Day.
