Rich gold and cognac color with remarkable iridescence, highly figured.
Typical delivery is 31" in diameter and 12 feet long
American distributor in Wisconsin.
Name the wood and its originating country. Tell me the age of this and similar wood. Hard to believe.

Could it be Ancient Kauri from New Zealand ? About 45,000 years old I believe if it is. Cool table !

Kauri wood, ancient and "current".
The ancient variety is 45,000 to 50,000 years old thanks to being buried in air tight peat in New Zealand.
The wood is fully workable in spite of the age. Oldest workable wood on the planet (so far). Plenty of sites and information.
Obviously the ancient wood is expensive, and the shipping...oy! But the recent growth is affordable. It shimmers when finished.
