Giant Sequoia trees are huge as we all know, but their wood is very light and not very dense. It is not very useful for lumber. When alive and full of water and covered in needles I imagine they can weigh many tons. When dead and dry they will be relatively light-relative to a hardwood of comparable size if there was one.
Not a quantitative answer, sorry.

Answer

Giant seguoia trees can weigh over 2000 tons (4 million pounds)
Re: Answer

My 10,000 ton guess was including the roots.
And the dirt in the root ball.
And I assumed it had just rained and the tree was wet.
And I might still have been a little off

The answer according to my information surprized me. I once figured the weight of a 18'x 6' sign I made for the town I live in. The sign was framed in 8"x8" Douglas fir, green. I figured the weight of the sign including the dried paint! I'm sometimes easily amused, : ' >.
In my day job, forester, I often figure weight of logs, never have attempted to figure the weight of a whole tree, leaves and all.
Have a great weekend!
