There goes my guess of a museum about gongs!

It looked like a dinner plate to me at first, but nothing significant about that being wood.

We have a winner! Yep, don't take any wooden nickels! And the monument is the world's largest wooden nickel, sitting outside the wooden nickel museum in San Antonio, TX.
