Today�s trivia has to do with a evergreen tree. It grows on the poorest soils. It has an extensive root system. It is the most extensively cultivated producing tree. They traditionally were found only reasonably close to the sea. Now however cultivars are grown inland and most every continent. The tree thrives in sun--the more the better. When seen in the wind from a distance, to me the tree looks to be occupied by hundreds of dragonflys. When dressed and finished the wood looks like agate. Name the tree.
