Friday puzzle

Dan Donaldson

Alex is indisposed today, so this is for him:

What do the following numbers have in common?

3.281

1.0936

0.00062

There is one more, but I think that one makes it too easy. If no one can figure this out, I will post the other number later as a hint.

Answer

The answer is that with the proper units attached to each one, they all equal 1 meter. For example, 39.37 inches is one meter. The units for the rest will be left as an exercise for the student. (I always wanted to get some kind of an excuse to say that ;) )
