This fellow is legendary for his work. One of his pieces was presented to Queen Elizabeth 2 by the US Government. But he also had a "day job" as the Chairman of the Industrial Arts Department for a well known eastern US college. Who is he?

I guess the Golden Uni will get an extra week of polishing. The answer was Rude Osolnik. The college, by the way, is Berea College in Kentucky.

If through your clues you mean Appalachian State. The chair there in what was once Industrial Arts (now Department of Technology) is Jeff Tiller. A former chair is Frank Steckel (Emeritus) I can't find related information about either of them. If wrong school --then no clue.

Yeah, but how many of you have one of his signed examples in your display case? You'll have to take my word for it that it's signed, unless our Swifty admin can find the photos of it in the archives from many years ago.

Much of it doesn't work because its code won't run on today's servers (e.g., the forums), and some of it relied on other servers which are no longer online (e.g., contests, the old WordPress galleries).
This will probably exist for about another month. It costs money to maintain this, and the backup isn't really needed anymore.
