Thursday Trivia

This one should be fairly easy. You know what a serpentine front looks like. If you reverse the pattern you get a shape with another name. What is that name?

Re: Thursday Trivia

Serpentine is "in, out, in" correct? You want "out, in, out"?

Re: Thursday Trivia

I was thinking of a term that sounds like another word for an explosive device.

Yes.

No (hint)

The shape reminds of the name given. Think what a top view of a drawer like this would look like.

Linked to a Fonda film and partly John's reply.

Re: Thursday Trivia

Block-front? Not as curvy, but reverse the ins and outs.

hmmmm.

Could be. I am not fond of Fonda (vietnam era vet ;-) and do not know the names of her films, but the second part fits.

Re: hmmmm.

I think Gary was referring to one of her dad's movies, "The --bow Incident"

Answer

As several got and I was not smart enough to figure out, the answer is "oxbow".

I like the reference type answers because I always tend to learn something new, even if someone has to explain it to me ;)
