Could it be as simple as a
mis spelling in #2
Re: Tuesday Puzzle
1, 3. @ & 4 state a fact in present tense. @ is in the future.
or
1, 2, & 3 have a male subject, 4 has a female subject.
Re: Tuesday Puzzle
2-3 and 4 have a word with double letters. Number one does not
No, that was just a brain f#$%
Sorry ;-(
No ;-)
Oops, a correction
I got crossed up and had to make a correction. Shows what happens when you try to do something in the middle of the night when taking antihistamines;-)
I missed the mis-spelling
thinking I had seen a more fruitful approach to solving this.
P.s. Still haven't looked at the hint from last week's. Thought I saw the problem in my first solution, but reached a new dead-end. Won't have time to work on it more this week, but now I'm determined!
Re: Oops, a correction
Does that mean I was correct?
no, sorry ;-(
;-)
Also, the hint in last weeks puzzle is not really much of a hint.
Answer
Steve's post, as well as the original, seems to have gotten lost in the system problem, so I'll clarify my "fruitful approach" comment for any that missed it. The first letters of sentences 1,2, and 3 spelled apple, banana, and kiwi, while the fourth didn't spell anything.
That is it.
I need to either put these together at some reasonable time when I am still at least sort of coherent or check them a lot better. ;-)
