Deep Humpday Triviola
Yet another day here at the mine.... Ok so you are down in a mine, working and you need a timber to wedge in place between two walls of a stope as part of a protective covering or platform. What is the name of the timber you reach for?

Well well well....I thought I had a stumper today but Gary rose to the occassion with his (intentionally) mispelled answer of stull.
Stull - A timber used for the support of overhead rock or the hanging wall. A stull may also be used to support a platform.
