Working on that last one made me think of another trivia/puzzle word question:
Find two English words that have all five primary vowels, each vowel occurring exactly once, and in alphabetical order. I know of only two such words, and both can be made into adverbs that include the "y", also in alphabetical order. One of those adverb forms would be a solution to yesterday's puzzle, of length 11.
I looked like a genius yesterday and today you make me look like an idiot. I know the meaning of only one of those words. If fact it is the only one I have heard before. A pox on you!
The only two of those I had ever heard of were the two I was thinking of, facetious and abstemious. What is marveillous? An archaic spelling of marvelous? It wasn't in the online dictionary I checked.
