Tuesday Puzzle

I am baaack ! ;-) (or did anyone notice that I was missing? ;-))

Special thanks to Alex and Dale for filling in. I appreciate it muchly.

Here is a simple one for you:

I ran into a friend and he was noticing how life can be really strange sometimes. He told me to think about this: He was born in March, but celebrates his birthday in August and last February, he married his Mother. How can this make any sense?

The only way that makes sense to me...

is that March and August are places, and that his wife is named "Mother".

Somehow, I suspect you had something else in mind!

Re: Tuesday Puzzle

I can think of an explanation but it would be religious in context. Including "performing" the marriage?

Answer

As alluded to in one of the answers, one scenario that would explain it is that he was born in a town called March in the month of August and became a preacher. His father died, and his mother remarried and he performed the ceremony.
