Re: Thursday Trivia

I'm pretty sure the technical term is "pull-out supports for fold-down writing surface". But I might be wrong. That's what I have always called them.

Dan,

I am way too "tired" to think of an answer for this one.

I'm assuming

the the word "supports" and "sliders" are too general. Another refers to a part of the anatomy of which there are two -- above the knees.

Only thing I can find is: Pull-out supports. Probably not what you are looking for. Thanks for the question

Please change that she into a he.

I've had trouble with that name all my life. In college I was invited to live in the girl's dorm but I flunked the physical. There were some questions on it that I just couldn' answer. I was also invited to join a sorority. Within a day after I was born I was given a nickname that the family still calls me to this day and I don't even want to go into that! And the origin of how they got Lynn is not without interest. :)
