Friday puzzle -- desert crossing
A traveler needs to cross a 100-mile desert that is completely devoid of resources, other than shelter. There is a shelter every 20 miles, where food and water can be safely stored. The traveler can carry three days' supply of food and water, and can walk 20 miles in a day.
How long will it take him to cross the desert?
